Our new lake is now under construction, there may be minor disturbances whilst this is on going but will be kept to a minimum. This lake will be banana shaped and is going next to the Runs Water. There will be a mixture of fish introduced into this lake. Hopefully will be open for Spring 2012.

Our new Canal lake is now fully stocked, will also be opening Spring 2012.

The night fishing syndicate is now due for re-newal. All those applying for membership must apply via e-mail stating a brief description of fishing history, name, address, tel No, the fee for this year will be £50 and numbers will be kept to a minimum.

GATES OPEN APPROX 7.30am CLOSES AT DUSK.

• WE ARE NOW SELLING BAIT. I.E. PELLETS, BOILIES, GROUNDBAIT, SWEETCORN. THESE CAN BE BOUGHT FROM THE CABIN. 
• OPEN MATCHES ON WEDNESDAYS AND SUNDAY'S. SEE THE MATCH PAGE.
• CAFE NOW OPEN......FULL ENGLISH BRAKFAST, TEA & TOAST £4.70. AT THE MOMENT THE CAFE IS ONLY OPEN ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS OTHER DAYS BY REQUEST. (There is a vending machine available for cold drinks.) You can also have your breakfast brought to you at your peg.

 Commonwood Fishery is a coarse fishery set in 60 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside near to Wrexham Town.

There are match and pleasure lakes plus a specimen Carp lake. There are lots of underground features to fish to. Pegs on the specimen Carp lake are larger than usual pegs and can take bivvies. Several pegs have their own private entrance with a gate that can be locked. There is also a Runs Water which is proving to be very popular with some good size carp coming out. There are car parks near to the lakes so no walking long distances with all your gear.

Day tickets are available. Matches and the specimen pool can be booked in advance.

Whilest we realise that Commonwood Fishery is a new fishery which will take time to mature, so far all the work that has gone into making this fishery has had the angler in mind. The clubhouse where baits will be available to purchase, plus drinks and snacks is also available and is now open. 

We at Commonwood Fishery believe this is an ideal venue for experienced, competition, novice and junior anglers.
