A local primary school head teacher took the inititive and contacted us with regards to bringing some of the children from Hafod - Y - Wern school to Commonwood Fishery with the intention of getting the children "hooked" onto fishing.

The children have now been fishing for the last couple of months every Friday afternoon where Simon, the head teacher and a couple of other teachers teach the children the basics of fishing. The children have said that they are really enjoying the fishing sessions and look forward to them each week. Below is a copy of the letter we received from the Simon and the children.

We are also offering Friday afternoons for any other local schools that think they may be interested in doing something like this, fishing tuition can be arranged for those who have teachers with no fishing experience. Please contact us on the contact us page.
