Comment: Just got back from a nice day fishing on the Llewelyn Lake[18th August 2011], the whole place looks very well done and wouldhappily make the journey from Liverpool on a regular basis to fishhere again. Far excels any fishery I\'ve used nearer to home.

Comment: fished commonwood on sat the 23rd july had areally goodsession caught everthing that swims bream roach tench carp etc my bestwas a scale perfect 7 pound common which was fighting fit i was on aweekend break an lookin for a fishery to go to and commonwood wasrecommended by two lads in greyhound pub and i was not dissapiontedset in a great location and paul the owner was more than helpful so iwill be spreadin the word in my neck off the woods will be comingagain soon. Comment: Amazing days fishing on Saturday ( 5/6/10 ) , 8 Common Carp, 15 pound being the largest , few 8- 12 pound ones to , Had reallygood chat with \' Paul \' the owner who gave me some good hints & tipsand also which pegs fished well and he was spot on - My advice is getsome good 12-15 pound line  as i got snapped twice on 8 pound line, ithink it must of been the 26 Pounda Paul !!! Looking forward to nextsunday and introduced a few mates who will be joining me this weekend!! Tight Lines - Best fishery in the North West !!

Comment: I would like to say what a brilliant days fishing we had atyour fishery yesterday 15th my son ian said what a great landscapedarea for fishing and i totally agree with him how every pool has beenthought out and thats on our first visit and just to finish keep upthe great work we will be back very soon.

Comment: My first visit to commonwood was the weekend of 30th arprilfor 48 hrs with a group of friends from the wrexham area.We all fished the specimen carp lake, and i must say what a lovelyplace this is. Although not many fish came out to our rods the onethat did was a proper lump of a common that im sure will be soon inthe picture gallery. We saw a few  fish cruising the water and theylooked a good size. Paul the venue owner always helpful and friendly .Looking forward to the next visit.

Comment: Fished here Saturday 24/ april , Fantastic Set up , i wouldhighly recommend to anyone , no more going to Oswestry Fishery nowthis one is on my doorstep!!One thing i would like to see is HALF DAY PASSES @ £ 3.50 / £ 4.00 asi finish work at 530pm  on Wrexham Ind Est so could fish from 5.30pmtill 10pm in the summer, just an idea i thought may attract othersPAUL !!Best Fishery in the Wrexham !! the 3 of us caught over 30 fish ,bream , roach and Mirror Carp.

Comment: My brother in law and me took my father in law fishing hehad\'nt been fishing since he was a lad and has mobility problems,sowe needed a venue that had disabled access,we found Commonwood hadgreat access with two custom built disabled pegs,we had a greatday,the father in law caught first cast and finished up as top man ofthe day.Its the best fishery I\'ve been to and we will definitely beback.Thanks

Comment: Had a fantastic day fishing last week. Caught 20 good ones all weights  ( Carp , Bream, roach ). My son caught a carp 17pounder.Its a well laid out fishery with good pegs , great parking to get your gear to the pegs easily and in a great location to get to. Abouttime we had a decent fishery in this area. Thanks for a great daysfishing will be back very soon !!Jas & gareth

We would just like to say that we are really pleased this fishery has opened in Wrexham. Myself, Peter and George are all retired and have enjoyed fishing together for many years, due to health we have not been able to travel far, therefore have not been able to go fishing so having Commonwood Fishery open in Wrexham is great as we can all go fishing together again, this is very much what Wrexham has needed. Onto the actual fishing and the fishery itself, what a beautiful setting, the sun was shining when we fished this week, it has been done really well and when it matures in time will be even nicer. We all caught some fish, had a great day and will definately be going back.  Thank you.

Comment:  Having visited Commonwood fishery during the digging of thelakes and the whole setting up of the complex I was very impressedindeed with what I seen. The lake and surroundings are spotless, thepegs are very spacious and every swim has its own features to fish to.Secure parking in designated areas all around the complex makes movingyour gear and transporting it to your swim very easy. Stock wise Paul has introduced some very young stunning mirrors forthe main carp lake which will blossom big time over the coming yearsand I would expect these fish to go very big. I was lucky enough tosee and help with these fish been introduced into the lake and theyseriously blew me away.This complex of lakes will definitely be one for the future  for anyanglers looking for something a little special and I am lookingforward to returning as soon as possible.

Comment:    I have fished at commonwood about 5 times now and just can't get enough of the place. I am yet to catch one of them big carp but all in all paul has done a great job with the fishery.
